Illustrations for storytellers
“Bards use words I use colors”
Books hide places that live in the imagination of those who read them.
I love listening to stories, if you have one in mind (whether you’re a writer, bard, epistolary herald or part-time storyteller) I’d be happy to hear it and help you represent it through my illustrations.
The landscapes of other worlds make us reflect and escape. Fantasy encourages imagination and creativity. It makes us learn and reflect thanks to the stories.
I work for anyone who has a story to tell and wants me to help convey it to the world. Tell me your story and how you want to give it color and together we will find the way to have the best result adapted to your budget.
My works with other storytellers
The art of storytelling has always amazed me. When I read a book, I imagine the landscapes and places described, especially those that are magical.
“The purpose of a storyteller is not to tell you how to think, but to give you questions to think upon”
Brandon Sanderson

FAQ
What price does a commission have?
The price of the commission depends on the characteristics and what you need (number of sketches, revisions and complexity, among other factors).
Fill out the form and we talk to adapt the commission to your needs.
What if my budget is low?
The important thing is to want to tell stories.
Tell me the budget you have and we work together to adapt the illustration project to make it affordable.
How long does it take to make an illustration?
The time I need to carry out a commission depends on its characteristics, like the level of detail, the number of sketches, revisions and changes carried out.
When we talk about your project I will give you an estimate of how long it can take. Also, if you have any deadlines, please let me know so I can take it into account from the beginning.
What if I don't like the sketch?
The sketching part is one of my favorite parts, surely there are several sketches to choose from and combine with each other. Also, I like to make variations of colors between them, this way you can choose the colors of another to apply them in the combination that you like the most.
After exchanging opinions of those first sketches, we work on a sketch mixing the ideas and the changes that you propose until you like it.
What kind of stories do you illustrate?
If you like my work, I illustrate for the story you have in mind. Here I do not classify whether a work is adult science fiction or children’s poetry. If you as a storyteller believe that my art and style can help you convey your story, we get to work to make it possible.
I have a book project. How can you help me?
First I listen to you and your story. I also like to know what ideas you have in mind for the book (it doesn’t matter if it’s crazy).
I can elaborate from covers to promotional illustrations for social networks, simple sketches for the interior, capital letter or symbols that decorate some pages, we can even make an illustrated album.
There is no small or large project, all commissions are as special as the story they tell. If you have any ideas even though I haven’t mentioned them , I’m looking forward to hearing them. I like the way that the magic of stories influences all my work.
I am not a writer but I would like to commission an illustration.
If you believe that my work can help you, whoever you are, I am here to listen to you.
Can I pay in installments?
Yes, in most cases there is usually an initial payment and another at the end. However, if you need to divide it further, we can talk about it without problem.
What includes a budget?
In general, it includes the initial sketches, the search for references, the revisions and the delivery of the final illustrations in high quality (digital).
However, the budgets are personalized and can include more or less things as we agree.
You said you like to read, what are your favorite books?
I’m a huge fan of Brandon Sanderson. I love Elantris, Mistborn, The Stormlight Archive, and the recently read Tress of the Emerald Sea.
I ‘m captivated by the books of Naomi Novik, Uprooted and a Deadly education.
I am from Spain and my youth has been marked by an author from here, Laura Gallego. I’m still reading everything she writes. I highly recommend the Guardians of the Citadel.
I admit that I still have to read The Lord of the Rings but…
I was a faithful follower of A Song of Ice and Fire and I patiently wait for its ending. Not forgetting Patrick Rothfuss and what a wonderful way he writes.
I have to admit that Joe Abercrombie‘s characters made me read his The First Law Trilogy and all the novels that complete it (although I am very pending the second trilogy, which has been highly recommended to me)
I love Bram Stoker‘s Dracula
And many more, if you want to recommend me a book, I’ll also listen to you.
